Republicans will need to be respectful of Ford in their questioning but Democrats will need to be disrespectful of Kavanaugh in theirs.

She should be treated as the “political whore” she is.

It’s a public accusation.

It needs to be a public hearing, no boundaries.

That is what has been missing. It does seem strange that none of her high school associates have come forward to support her or give info on her history.

Per Rush L the 65 women who signed a letter supporting Kavanaugh has increased to 200 women.

“”and the damage among women voters already so potentially grave””

I love how all these so called writers can speak for all of us or at least they presume they do. None of this has damaged me or my thinking in any way. Nothing can make me believe it is anything except just plain STUPID!

They need to be respectful, but they also need to be able to call her out if doing so is in the service of determining whether Kavanaugh should or should not sit on the bench. If she came forward with the intention of serving the public good she should be willing to go through with what is required for that goal. As it stands, Blasey Ford is setting the cause of women being taken seriously way the heck back since she has taken the fruit of so many gains and is squandering it. Who will listen to the next woman? The next woman who is likely in a good deal of jeopardy of the sort that Blasey Ford seems unacquainted with?!

This is the typical Dem playbook. They think they should be able to make any accusation and that the accuser should be believed regardless of how many facts don’t add up or how many times their story changes. AND, that the accused should not be able to defend himself or herself. You see that all the time regarding sexual assault/harassment accusations, especially on campus.

OMG Republicans need to go full bore negative on her. EVERYONE KNOWS that this is made up crap. EVERYONE that is voting for them or will vote for them KNOWS it. IF they go full bore negative on her I can guarantee they’ll get a standing O from every republican AND undecided out there. The only ones they won’t impress is leftists who are going to advance the notion that republicans hate women NO MATTER WHAT. They will NEVER make them happy.

I’m sorry, but the protestors, and the “resist” movement, and all of the rest of the Democratic Party of late has sounded like nothing more than some narrative out of the worst of the Disney movies (only with violence, porn, and cursing). You know what I mean? It’s like Cruella DeVille ran for president, won, and now it is up to a scappy band of children, puppies, and assorted vegan no-kill shelter workers to save the day.

So what CAN they ask Christine Blowsy?

“Why did they call you “Choo-choo”?

“Have you ever been called ‘Vaseline Christine’”?

Is she a drunken slut (oops, can't say that) whose memory is impaired too much to be able to memorize the evasive answers.

No problem. The lawyers on the gop side just need to do the smooth defense lawyer act, A good defense attorney could tear this chick’s story apart without her even knowing it was happening. There is no reason for someone to blunder in after her with bullying tactics. Hopefully the gops will have at least a modicum of common sense.

Questions for her:

1. At this party YOU were at and which Mr. Kavenaugh was NOT at, according to him, were you drinking as well as they boys that were with you in the bedroom?
2. How often did you go to drinking parties with teenage boys?
3. Did any other teenage boys ever feel you up?
4. After you were laying on the bed with the drunk high school boys at this drinking party did you go right home?
5. Judge Kavenaugh swears under oath that he wasn't there. Let's say he's telling the truth and you're making a mistake. Who else MIGHT it have been that was messing around with you?
6. Did you ever have a boyfriend in high school?
7. (if answer is yes) Did he ever touch you in a sexual way or say anything sexually suggestive WITHOUT your express permission to do so?
8. (if no) Are you a lesbian?

Sure why should it matter that she is a lying drunk? You can’t make this nonsense up. Who the hell is she to stop you from asking her any questions?Mark What about her erased social media? This is absolutely ridiculous and unfair.

I think that it’s important to remember that this story is fabricated and cannot be verified. Therefore any elements of the story that have reached the public can be changed today, tomorrow, or next week. The number of boys have already changed from four to two, and since the second boy has also said that he has no recollection of this event, then this little soap opera can be reinvented whenever necessary.

I think that this professor has just figured out that she is being used by the left but they will left her slowly twisting in the wind if necessary. She ought to stay in Palo Alto and enjoy the rest of her life before this blows up in her face.

it’s already a no-win situation for Republicans. Why make it worse by putting her through the wringer?

If it's already a "no win", then what have they got to lose by putting her thru the truth wringer?

Sounds more like a nothing to lose and everything to win situation............Sheesh

“serious conditions” - yeah, probably like Kavanaugh doesn’t get to say a word and Ford gets to give one emotional, self-pitying monologue and then leave without answering one question from anyone - she’s a supposedly educated, sophisticated, conscientious woman who tried to drop an anonymous, vague to the point of being unanswerable accusation on a man of integrity and honor, then slink off into the night without taking any responsibility or accountability for her actions - she doesn’t deserve a hearing, except maybe by the America Psychological Association for violating their code of ethics by acting in such a way as to put the field in bad light for the public....
