Full title: Another Delay Tactic: Dianne Feinstein is Now Demanding Dozens of Witnesses Testify Against Kavanaugh
Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein is rejecting efforts by Chairman Chuck Grassley to hear from Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct during high school, in an open hearing Monday.
"Chairman Grassley said today there would be only two witnesses invited to testify at the Kavanaugh hearing next week on sexual assault allegations. Compare that to the 22 witnesses at the 1991 Anita Hill hearing and it's impossible to take this process seriously," Feinstein released in a statement. "What about other witnesses like Kavanaugh's friend Mark Judge? What about individuals who were previously told about the incident? What about experts who can speak to the effects of this kind of trauma on a victim? This is a another attempt by Republicans to rush this nomination and not fully vet Judge Kavanaugh."
Feinstein, who keeps releasing bombastic statements, has turned down a number of media interviews in recent days and has not spoken publicly about Ford's accusation.
Grassley said during an interview with Salem Radio host Hugh Hewitt Tuesday morning that Ford, despite multiple attempts, has not responded to requests for testimony on Monday. Kavanaugh has accepted the invitation to testify.
"We still haven't heard from Dr. Ford, so do they want to have the hearing or not?" Grassley said during an interview with Salem Radio host Hugh Hewitt Tuesday morning. "We have reached out to her in the last 36 hours, three or four times by email and we have not heard from them. It kind of raises the question do they want to come to the public hearing or not? The reason we're having the public hearing is obviously, well number one, accusations like this deserve consideration and looking into and that's what the purpose of the hearing is. We wouldn't be having the hearing if Dr. Ford told the Washington Post and other people publicly she wanted to testify."

Let’s call the red state senators and demand an investigation of Feinstein and her fitness to be on the committee. She held back information which should have been disclosed. She employed a Chinese spy. We want to know how she came in possession of the letter. We want an investigation into her husbands ties to china. Republicans need to play hardball against these dirty tricks and the way the rat senators have been conducting themselves from day one of these hearings. Let’s end this crap. We are in charge. Not schmucky and shiff face.

The Republicans were in the majority when they blocked a lame duck nomination. The dems are the minority party but, are hoping to become the majority. Folks who are citing this as, "tit for tat" forget how Harry Reid pulled the nuclear option out of his arse to take the one tool the minority had used to delay.

Like I said; not a popular thing to point out here but I still understand the left’s anger. True; they made the bed themselves. It was, after all, the Biden rule, and Reid did change the senate rules but you know how them dems hold a grudge forever. They are all women at their core that way.

The democrats apparently think they get to run things, even when in the minority. They will stoop to ANYTHING to get what they want, what Obama started, (the two Bush presidents, truth be known) and Hillary was to have continued. I am praying for mercy for our country, that the enemy will be confounded, and that we will be victorious, flawed as we are, in the mighty Name of Jesus.
I have called Senator Grassley’s office, and told the person who answered, that Sen. Grassley must not let the democrats get away with this long-planned, obstructionist stunt.
Feinstein knows she’s probably not going to be re-elected, and even if secure, does not care how obvious this lowdown stunt is. STOPPING this nomination at any cost (as Schumer promised to do) is their aim. They believe they will win the midterms, and the closer they get, will reveal more planned dirty tricks to try to stop a republican victory, but I believe in Victory through the the living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and His Son, Jesus, the Christ. Pray without ceasing.
