What’s puzzling to Collins is that if the Dems BELIEVED the woman, they should have brought out the charges earlier. She is signaling that the Dems behavior suggests that they DON’T believe the accuser. Collins is criticizing the Dems for behavior that trashes the woman who accused Kavanaugh. I think that’s a good line of attack for Collins and effective. She says the Dems dissed their own witness. So how credible can she be?
