Thanks Rock. There is so much going on that never gets reported its up to us to pick up the slack that the msm/drivebys leave over and over.
Government rewards people who are not productive. Job titles are exaggerated so people feel important. It is hard to fire someone in these positions. They just want to receive a nice retirement check by 55. Trump is a threat to upset the apple cart. There is deep resentment when someone wants to change anything.
I think its so bad that most govt. departments need to be reinvented, some closed down permanently.Right now Trump is auditing a lot of them could be the first stage.
So, on the recommendation of somebody on this forum, I purchased a book by Len Colodny, who I never heard of. Title is “Silent Coup” and it’s the Watergate story.
Quite a thick book, not electronic.
I bought it because, well the recommendation above, plus I wanted to review the Watergate story.
Richard Nixon....ah, another Republican doesn’t take a stand for defense.
I was very much alive during Watergate, it was the beginning of my interest in politics.
I was about 21 something when Watergate occurred and while I did read the newspapers and listen to the news, remember back in those days we had no social media and Walter Conkrite reporting the news.
I was confused at the time. A small time break-in in some Democrat office. All done for John Dean and his wife or some silly story.
I always thought it was a dopey story and bear in mind, back in that day, I was a silly liberal and did not like Nixon.
Then there was the “Deep Throat” thing, which was asshole Mark Felt, a big nothing-burger who will go down in history as , well, a big nothing-burger.
Of course there were the very honest Woodward and Bernstein, very honest liars, meeting Deep Throat in garages.
A big joke people.
THIS silent coup won’t be quite so successful because we’ve got Donald Trump for President and he doesn’t just throw up his hands and relent.
I suspected, at the time and even in my liberal turning Conservative mind-set, thought it was a big nothing.
But at the time I thought, no way could two guys just make up something and get a president thrown out of office. I figured there had to be a dead body somewhere but they are sparing the American public’s sensitivities.
I do not understand how this silent coup has gotten this far. I don’t know how that very dishonest nothing-burger Bob Mulehead is doing what he is doing.
All the traitors in our government.
The mind boggles.
Everything is on hold until Kavanaugh is confirmed. Then the dogs of hell are unleashed.
FEMA director basically just told F Chuck Puerto Rico is full of ****
Which is exactly why they are using their militarized Deep State to get rid of him.
Muleteam, Comey and Rosenberg are all working together and have been for decades.
The Trump hate is deep because of the resentment of changing the old system in government. The Trump hate is deep within the media because of liberal educations and wanting to continue to target the weakest members of society with a liberal message.
Adam Schiff has not uttered a word yet and looks like he has been doing bath salts.
What a freak.
Let the other hundreds of whistleblowers come forward to testify, give them immunity and guarantees of continued fedgov positions. Fire the rest.
Abolish the FBI. We have Federal Marshalls.
Abolish the CIA. We have the NSA.
Many of the places they are running of to are already flooded, this creates a hgue problem with fresh water everywhere. Mayor of New Bern telling F. Chuck potus is on the ball even called him!!Chuck won't like that. Look for the mayor to be gone really quick.
Yep mayor is gone!!
All to predictable anything good about administration is ignored or lied about. Now they talk to Brock from fema. He's really good and will be able to handle F. Chuck's obvious bias.
1,300 people 27 different teams pre-positioned by Trump adm. Chuck won't like that, recovery will be ugly but we will get through it.
Brock has to tell F. Chuck water has not receded yet. Now F. Chuck telling Brock that potus needed to learn lessons from Puerto Rico Brock says no lessons were necessary potus already knew, he handles Chuck really well. He won't be on much longer just watch.
Fema is the biggest employer in Puerto Rico now F. Chuck says death toll disputed by Trump. Brock tells Chuck:" we don't count deaths, we just help people." He's got Chuck's number and its zero.
Brock explaining to chuck he's concerned about wind, water, and waves not death studies faeked by the media. He handlses chuck really well.
Now F.Chuck saying Trump wants to fire brock for illegal use of his vehicle. Never ends with these a holls. NOw schiff,i quit going somewher else anywhere.
Those people know Trump could expose their dirty deeds. So they must bad mouth Trump and attempt to destroy him, because they know he has enough power to find out their playbook tactics.
Trump was prepared for this disaster better than anyone before him.
People like Adam Schiff are so creepy, it is difficult to listen or watch.
Brock was great.
“excuse me, I have work to do”
I think you overestimate the number of whistle-blowers and underestimate the perfidy and numbers of Deep State.
And how do we know that this same strategy was not used in 2012 to reelect Obama?
NB: Google met with the WH once a week for the entire 8 years of the Obama administration.
I’ll add my thanks to rodguy911’s. (Yep, I’m still here - no power till “whenever”, my generator broke down Sat. morning and my yard really is a swamp now, my screen name notwithstanding!) Your hurricane threads are an invaluable resource, and your efforts ARE greatly appreciated!
Maybe when his get Trump campaign flames out he can get a job in Jerry Browns Space Agency, and he can spy on Trump from the heavens /s
Schiff has crazy eye derangement syndrome.
