WASHINGTON As Democrats enter the fall midterm campaign with palpable confidence about reclaiming the House and perhaps even the Senate, tensions are rising between the White House and congressional Republicans over who is to blame for political difficulties facing the party, with President Trumps advisers pointing to the high number of G.O.P. retirements and lawmakers placing the blame squarely on the presidents divisive style.
Yet Republican leaders do agree on one surprising element in the battle for Congress: They cannot rely on the booming economy to win over undecided voters. To the dismay of party leaders, the healthy economy and Mr. Trump have become countervailing forces. The decline in unemployment and soaring gross domestic product, along with the tax overhaul Republicans argue is fueling the growth, have been obscured by the presidents inflammatory moves on immigration, Vladimir V. Putin and other fronts, party leaders say.
These self-inflicted wounds since early summer have helped push Mr. Trumps approval ratings below 40 percent and the fortunes of his party down with them.

During the early 60s my Grandfather schooled me on the benefits of conservatism. This started before I was 10 years old.
He was a daily reader of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Chicago Tribune.
At that time I was also very interested in what we called the Sunday funny papers. (Comics) I understood why there were no funny papers in the WSJ. (No Sunday issue) However, I was a bit confused about why the Chicago Tribune had funny papers, but the NYT didnt. My Grandfather explained that the NYT only published all the news thats fit to print. Im confident that he is turning in his grave.
68% of American likely voters consider immigration a serious problem.

The Republicans who get behind the President's policies of reduced taxes, fewer regulations, fair trade agreements and stronger immigration laws are on a winning path.
Some of the RINOs are in a more difficult position.
But get out the vote and pull the lever for Republicans. A demonRat House makes life far more difficult for our President and America. Take a friend and a neighbor to vote in November. Every vote counts and we all must do our part.

How many times do we have to say it...
BUILD THE WALL! BUILD THE WALL! BUILD THE WALL!
“Difference b/t Republicans and Democrats: Republicans should know better but often do not and Democrats dont give s sh#t.”
That, my FRiend, may be the best description of the UNIPARTY ever devised. I stand in awe.
Bill Kristol is not the only one that clutches at pearls. So many of the OTHER RINOs and Neocons have been dodging for the exits, you would think somebody has hollered “FIRE!” in a very crowded theater. Freedom of speech and all, you know.
Thee is no fire, and the roof is NOT caving in. But sunlight and fresh air has been allowed in, and the excess of oxygen is downright suffocating to some, and the rest are scurrying from the light.
Donald Trump, superman though he may be, cannot do it alone. Your help is desperately needed between now and November 6, 2018, and especially so on that day as well.
We cannot stop the other side from being energized, if that is what they are doing, but we just have to be a little more energized ourselves. We do not stand to lose everything should the Democrats win, albeit narrowly, in either the House or Senate, but freedom and discretionary action for the White House will be severely limited.
Or as was so succinctly put by a former major league football coach, “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the ONLY thing.”
Nobody remembers who came in second place on the football field or in politics.
I think the NY Slimes is in competition with CNN to see which Leftist/Deep State media outlet can be the slimiest of them all!
They all are scum-sucking liars, distorted and committees. Pox on them ALL!
Definitely a garbage report full of lies (fake news).
BTW; I don’t know if MSN is down or what but the link was broken for me. Maybe my script blocker is keeping it from showing up.
The daily tracking poll by Rasmussen is still deadly accurate and they have it 47-51 as of yesterday.
judging by its “reporting”, it would seem NYT was/is most complicit media outlet with the Deep State in Spygate; otherwise, why would they keep damaging their “reputation”?
release the names of all “reporters” who colluded, IG Horowitz?
13 Sept: Washington Times: FBI’s ‘media leak strategy’ against Trump needed a complicit media
By Larry O’Connor
You cant have a media leak strategy without plenty of willing accomplices in the media.

All the news thats sh#t , we print.
why not? Campaign against Pelosi and the Democrats and their policies, compare and contrast what their policies did the last time they were in charge to what we now have with them not in charge. It's a simple and effective message. Let's get with the program, folks. If an opponent makes an issue of President Trump, the retort is "really? We should enact terrible policies because you don't like the President's personality? What kind of insanity is that?"
Good. I hope we stay or get energized
They are worried because they are not Republicans.
51% disapproval in this economy and with a POTUS not getting us involved in senseless wars is a disgrace and shows the media complex still has a shit ton of influence.
the left’s base is on fire because they’re losing their free ride.
our side is doing well with the economy and might get complacent.
