Tech expert Ian Wilson is to be airlifted to an area three miles from where he claims he has pinpointed the Malaysian Airlines flight using Google Maps.
He will then need a guide to lead him through the two-day jungle mission through the mountainous terrain west of Cambodian capital Phnom Penh.
It comes after Andre Milne who previously declared Wilson's spot "significant" called an earlier helicopter mission to find the missing MH370 flight "useless" because it wasn't on foot.
Milne a private investigator and founder of Unicorn Aerospace exclusively told Daily Star Online: "Flying over in a helicopter is virtually useless.
"It requires human insertion to the ground via a jungle penetration from above.
"Flying 'over' a deep jungle growth forest to look for an aircraft that could have been on the ground for over four years is virtually useless because of the thick vegetation that will have grown all around and over the aircraft making it impossible to see from the air.

OVALTINE Malted Chocolate flavor will do nicely.
Days to walk there and alleged evidence half-a-world away. Maybe time for government or somebody to get in first, scoop it up and deposit it in the ocean with the alleged debris. Maybe a conspiracy theory or movie plot?
There are two things about this story that make no sense.
1. The plane is visible in google earth photos but can’t be seen by a search and rescue helicopter flying directly overhead? you need “boots on the ground” to see something that a satellite can see? Not.
2. The plane in the google earth photo is 100% intact. Did it land using a giant parachute?
Surely the google satellite took a photo that included a plane flying over the jungle, on the same path that MH370 was supposed to take. The people pushing this story must be aware of that but they’re going to milk it for all it’s worth.
I have it on good authority that there is a plane there but it is a CIA plane shot down in 1971.
Hope they find it and its black box and flight recorder.
The term “jungle” is no longer used because it causes one to think of the term “jungle bunny!” And that is racist, pure and sure!
To the best of my knowledge, it is an actual, unaltered image.
So what about the several huge pieces of a 777 that have washed up on the east coast of Africa?
the ground penetrating radar that the archaeologists use might be appropriate. If it can see stonework under the surface f the land it should be able to penetrate the jungle to metal.
Paging Mr D B Cooper, Mr D B Cooper. You are wanted on the white phone in the lobby. Judge Crater and Ambrose Bierce need to discuss unsolved disappearances.

Thanks bert, interesting info.
The ones that have been verified as having come from MH370 are authentic, all are fragmentary.
The supposed flight path was cooked up by a company that appears to have just used the whole thing for PR. Their doppler shift idea only works if the plane continued to fly. The plane didn’t fly on for seven hours, that’s why the search turned up nothing.
in one piece???
i doubt it
Since he claims to know the exact spot, then why can’t a helicopter drop him exactly on top of it?
Here’s a green crayon.
I recall seeing a story of a pretty big piece of a wing,a flap or a rudder on a beach somewhere in either Mozambique or Madagascar which was said to be absolutely from a 777.This was a year or two ago.
