Post 11 is correct.
The vote was, indeed, scheduled to be for today.
HOWEVER:
Per procedure, any Democrat could call for a one week delay for ANY reason, up to and including his or her underwear was too tight.
So it was a foregone conclusion that the vote was to be September 20th.
Educate yourself next time, and also, next time have the common decency to ping me when you try to (erroneously) refute my statements.
For shame, Lazamataz use facts not your personal foregone conclusions... citing NPR no less! LOL
FACT: Grassley LAST Thursday placed Kavanaughs nomination on the committees agenda for SEPT. 13.
Grassleys notice on Monday formally sets in motion the Republican plan of getting Kavanaugh confirmed to the Supreme Court by October, when the justices will start their next term.
Kavanaughs nomination could get a vote as soon as this week. But Democrats are expected to DELAY re-setting the vote until next week, meaning Kavanaughs nomination will likely be taken up by the committee on SEPT. 20.”
BTW, I had sent correction per private freeper mail to not cause your embarrassment. So, I felt no need to PING you.
