For shame, Lazamataz use facts not your personal foregone conclusions... citing NPR no less! LOL
FACT: Grassley LAST Thursday placed Kavanaughs nomination on the committees agenda for SEPT. 13.
Grassleys notice on Monday formally sets in motion the Republican plan of getting Kavanaugh confirmed to the Supreme Court by October, when the justices will start their next term.
Kavanaughs nomination could get a vote as soon as this week. But Democrats are expected to DELAY re-setting the vote until next week, meaning Kavanaughs nomination will likely be taken up by the committee on SEPT. 20.”
BTW, I had sent correction per private freeper mail to not cause your embarrassment. So, I felt no need to PING you.
MY personal conclusions. MY personal conclusions. LOL!
This was posted well before the silly Feinswine move. And note that while the citation is MSN, the actual article is from Washington Examiner -- a somewhat more reliable source.
FACT: Grassley LAST Thursday placed Kavanaughs nomination on the committees agenda for SEPT. 13.
FACT: There is a committee rule that allowed the Democrats to place the vote on hold for an additional week, and nearly every person on Capital Hill expected them to invoke it.
And as to your citation: Kavanaughs nomination could get a vote as soon as this week. But Democrats are expected to DELAY re-setting the vote until next week, meaning Kavanaughs nomination will likely be taken up by the committee on SEPT. 20..... you selectively edited the rest of the text ON THE VERY ARTICLE YOU USED TO MAKE AN ERRONEOUS POINT!
"The move means Kavanaugh's nomination could get a vote as soon as this week. But Democrats are expected to delay the vote until next week, meaning Kavanaugh's nomination will likely be taken up by the committee on Sept. 20. Under committee rules, any one senator can delay a nomination by a week when it's on the agenda for the first time, as Kavanaugh's nomination will be on Thursday.Nominations are routinely held over for a week.
So, I can only conclude that either A) You are willfully misinforming people, or B) You are ignorant, and smug about it.
