DO PHONE COMPANIES TERMINATE YOUR PHONE CALLS BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT? OF COURSE NOT, SO WHY DOES TWITTER AND FACEBOOK ENGAGE IN INTRUSIVE CENSORSHIP? Phone companies are considered public utilities and thus are regulated - often to their detriment - innovation-wise. Perhaps social media will be legally termed 'public utiliities'. The problem then is how do you keep ISIS and al Qaeda off line?
