I was at work at the FAA and saw the second plane hit on the TV in the cafeteria. I went down stairs and told the guys to forget doing what they had planned for the day and turn on the TV to see what was going on. We were disrupted for weeks.

I was driving to work on the west coast listening to some FM pop channel when the stupid sounding co host says something "weird" just happened...a small plane...I'm thinking piper cub...just crashed into the trade tower....

once on duty it all unfolded....

I was at work when the Challenger exploded and when the Americans won the hockey gold cup in 1984, at least when it was first shown on tv...
