Three-year-old Joy Blessing. She has been detained at Kenyatta National Hospital over hospital bill.
I am grateful that my daughter has recovered, but I cannot leave the hospital. She is very playful and I am afraid she will contract more diseases, Ms Mmochi said, noting that patients with different diseases are forced to share beds at the patient detention centre.
Sharing of bed is not good for those whose wounds have not healed. I am appealing to the hospital to release my daughter as I look for money to pay them, said the 24-year-old mother.
I am a single mother and sole breadwinner. The longer I am detained here, the worse the situation gets for my family. If they let me go, Ill be able to get back on my feet and start paying the bill, said Ms Mmochi, a hotel attendant
Wouldnt happen here ever.
Wheres my darn beeber?
How sad.
Sad that so many FReepers didn’t see this as a scam from the get go.
Their outrage is even funnier than the scam itself.
Jeez!
In the United States it is.
Mexico does the same thing to Mexicans that they know have money. Friend of ours has a house in Michoacán that his dad lived in. Dad had a heart attack and was in the hospital. They wouldnt release him til our friend paid the bill. Friend is a Mexican with dual citizenship that owns a restaurant here.
LOL!
and I’m prolly too late to join in on the fun...
Tribute zot from Old Sarge I found in the archives.

Quick call the Kenyan Usurper and let him know one of his countrymen is stuck in the hospital.
How can you tell when the Kenyan Usurper is lying?
His lips move.
Everything the KU did while in office is null and void. His Secret Service protection should be withdrawn as well as his pension.
