twitter suspends benghazi hero after criticism of president obama!
GP ^ | September 9, 2018 | Jim Hoft

President Obama lectured President Trump, accused him of racism, and attempted to take credit for President Trump’s economic miracle.

But Barack Obama’s worst lie was his remarks on Benghazi.

Barack Obama: “The politics of division and paranoia has found a home, unfortunately, in the Republican party. … they’ve embraced wild conspiracy theories by those surrounding Benghazi. Or my birth certificate.”

Benghazi hero Kris Paronto responded to the former president.

Kris has not forgotten about the men lost as Obama did nothing.

Apparently Kris ‘Tanto’ Paronto can’t defend against the lies so Twitter promptly put him in a timeout.

Twitter did not appreciate this.

Twitter slapped a temporary suspension on Paronto’s account after his criticism of President Obama.

Twitter later lifted the temporary suspension of Kris Paronto’s account.

Twitter founder and CEO Jack Dorsey told Congress last week his platform aims to shape behavior.

Apparently, that means not criticizing former President Obama.

I wonder if a class action lawsuit could win against all these social media companies. I know they have certain rights too but when they use bias to suspend or ban someone it just seems like a good case to me.

Twitter has been a cesspool of attacks on President Trump. They get a pass.

Instead of dropping it you should inundate it with conservative posts and make them suspend you.

>>Serious question: Why not post this blog in Bloggers rather than in News/Activism?

Because the slash implies OR and, like it or not, Twitter activism is a real thing in the 21st century and selective blocking is an issue. Creating an alternate Twitter is not the same thing as a competitor buying their own printing press in the 18th century.

Twitter, FB, etc have moved into the realm of possibly being considered a public utility. Could you imagine if old Ma Bell had refused to sell phones to people of a different political party than that of the board majority? What Twitter, et al are doing is not a business freely operating. It has become a public utility operating with discriminatory practices.

So, serious answer: this is an Activism issue.

I stay on Twitter to read the Trump tweets. If they are ever foolish enough to ban him that is when I will leave it.

All we need to do is enforce our Anti Trust Laws vigorously, after Bankrupting and Imprisoning for Life the first, the others will fall in line.

https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/competition-guidance/guide-antitrust-laws/antitrust-laws

The Sherman Act outlaws “every contract, combination, or conspiracy in restraint of trade,” and any “monopolization, attempted monopolization, or conspiracy or combination to monopolize.” Long ago, the Supreme Court decided that the Sherman Act does not prohibit every restraint of trade, only those that are unreasonable. For instance, in some sense, an agreement between two individuals to form a partnership restrains trade, but may not do so unreasonably, and thus may be lawful under the antitrust laws. On the other hand, certain acts are considered so harmful to competition that they are almost always illegal. These include plain arrangements among competing individuals or businesses to fix prices, divide markets, or rig bids. These acts are “per se” violations of the Sherman Act; in other words, no defense or justification is allowed.

The penalties for violating the Sherman Act can be severe. Although most enforcement actions are civil, the Sherman Act is also a criminal law, and individuals and businesses that violate it may be prosecuted by the Department of Justice. Criminal prosecutions are typically limited to intentional and clear violations such as when competitors fix prices or rig bids. The Sherman Act imposes criminal penalties of up to $100 million for a corporation and $1 million for an individual, along with up to 10 years in prison. Under federal law, the maximum fine may be increased to twice the amount the conspirators gained from the illegal acts or twice the money lost by the victims of the crime, if either of those amounts is over $100 million.

KRIS PARENTO NEEDS TO DEMAND AN INDEPENDENT AUDIT OF HIS TWITTER ACCOUNT

According to the Association of CPA’s, an audit is a systematic and independent examination of books, accounts, statutory records, documents and vouchers of an organization (non-profit or publicly-held) to ascertain authenticity of financial statements as well as non-financial disclosures and to codify that the account presents a true and fair view of the issues at hand.

An audit also attempts to ensure that the account is properly maintained as required by federal and state law. The auditor perceives and recognises the issues, and conducts a examination, obtains evidence, evaluates the same, and formulates an opinion on the basis of informed judgement which is communicated through an audit report.
Issues such as soliciting subscribers, collecting fees for service, billing procedures, and the detailed reporting of these issues. This includes the federal government, state government, the SEC, Banking oversight agencies, ERISA, insurance and other liability companies.

Areas commonly audited include: compliance audits, internal controls, quality management, project management, and collection and disposition of public monies. As a result of an audit, principles and stake-holders may effectively evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, for the edification of the relevant federal and state governance agencies and taxpayers with a financial stake in the subject matter.

Financial audits are commonly performed to ascertain the validity and reliability of information, as well as to provide an assessment of a system’s internal control. As a result of this, each party can have an accounting given on financial statements based on on the audit evidence obtained.

Due to constraints and limitations that might be placed on the auditor, an audit seeks to provide reasonable assurance that the statements are free from material error. In the case of financial audits, a set of financial statements are said to be true and fair when they are free of material misstatements – a concept influenced by both quantitative (numerical) and qualitative factors.

Copies of the Twitter audit are to be provided to federal and state governments, the SEC, the FCC, investors, including banking, legal oversight agencies, liability companies and other oversight agencies, and officials of the state and federal government deemed stakeholders in the resultant financial accounting.
