Cane’s gonna be a cane, but the entire target coast is getting pre-soaked, right now.

We do, thanks for asking, Holly. We just got a new one last year with an additional battery life of 2 hours extra if the power goes off.

Two more live cam sites to add to the thread. I’ve been watching the Hilton Garden Inn/Kitty Hawk Pier cam from the Outer Banks for a little while. The Outer Banks Fishing Pier cam is another good view.

There are currently two storm chasers in NC but will probably be more before long. Brett’s already at Carolina Beach and Aaron is travelling that direction now. The two are off the air at the moment but if their “dots” are green, they’re livestreaming.
https://livestormchasing.com/map
I’m keeping an close eye on both areas because I’ve spent quite a bit of time at both. Many weekends at the Outer Banks during the years I lived in Raleigh, and I lived in Wilmington for a year and spent a lot of time at Carolina Beach. Any hurricane that hits makes me hold my breath but this monster has my hair standing on end. A lot of time on the computer the next few days will be spent with this thread in one window and live cams in another.

"Staging a lot of stuff out at Ft Bragg."Great. I don't want to give the Democrats any campaign issues regarding the hurricane response.
