If my daughter,or granddaughter, were to walk into *her* home and find an unauthorized person there I'm hoping that the first thing she'd do is shoot.
Yes,it's a major fail for her having somehow walked into the wrong apartment.Other than that she was 100% spot on...cop or no cop.
Well she wasn’t in “HER HOME” and to frigen stupid to realize that.
Defiantly should not be a cop.
School crossing guard either
Other than that she was spot on
Other than that Mrs Lincoln, how did you like the play
See #8.
Would you do that alone with zero support/backup?
Incorrect. She did everything wrong, 100%. And that's why she's now charged with manslaughter.
“Other than that she was 100% spot on...cop or no cop.”
Shooting someone who is in THEIR HOME, minding their own business, is 100% spot on?
If I walk into my home - my OWN home - and spot an intruder, I’ll PULL my gun. I’ll be READY to shoot. But if my family shot everyone who was a potential threat, my wife would have shot a neighbor’s drunk teenage son, who wandered into our backyard by mistake and STARTED to open the rear door. Then he, as drunk as he was, realized something looked wrong!
Pulling a gun in self-defense doesn’t always mean opening fire immediately. If I had, then 40 years ago I’d have killed some probable bad guys instead of walking away without shooting. And since I’m not a cop, I’d probably have been in big trouble for shooting some guys who acted like a threat when I got back to my car after a hike. Acted, but who hadn’t pulled a weapon (although there were 8 of them and one of me).
Are you OK with your daughter or granddaughter taking one for the team, if someone like this cop barges into their home and shoots them?
‘Other than that she was 100% spot on...cop or no cop.’
a centrifuge couldn’t spin faster than you are here...
Really? What if it was a little kid who wandered in? Or someone elderly. Relax Quick Draw.
Did her apartment key unlock her neighbors apartment, or did she leave her apartment unlocked all day? Nobody who is NOT under the influence, would be stupid enough to walk into the wrong apartment, especially after either finding the door unlocked, or finding her key doesn’t fit. Something is being left out of this story, IMHO.
So, if I accidently walk into the wrong house, and kill the resident, it’s just an “Ooopies! But, I still did the right thing!”
Gosh, you’re a gem.
