Synopsis
By 2015, America & the West had lost their way, embracing a "politically correct" egalitarian Socialist vision of human interchangeability that undermined each nation's heritage of aspiration & achievement, when President Trump stepped up.

In an effort to stress the historic importance of this fall's election--not only for America, but for the West in general--I have elected to focus on the material & cultural aspirations & achievements that the Left now wars against in an unfair & despicable effort to undermine & discredit both the American heritage & Donald Trump's efforts to reinvigorate the roots of that achievement. (The "Spirit of '76," and the bold aspirations & adventuresome pursuits that grew out of it.)

The Spirit of 76 never died, it just got tired of
being pushed around, that is what elected DJT.

Trump understands the importance of heritage & spirit, which is why the Left hates him so very much. This is truly the core of the real conflict. The Left is at war with virtually every aspect of the Western Heritage, and particularly with American achievement, as a sort of ultimate flowering of a despised Historic culture.

It does seem to be a war between Western culture and everyone else. It also seems like the headquarters of this war are New York, Washington DC, and Los Angeles California, and their common social culture.

There are several allied movements in on the attacks, but the real loony aspect—the really pathological aspect that allies with Soros type operations--really displays a sociopathic fervor, particularly against the higher aspirations for what once were seen as virtues in the West.

There is a hard core that seems absolutely oonvulsed by their hatred of our civilization.

Here is another excerpt from the article:

In place of that former celebration of adventure, aspiration & achievement, generations of youth were taught to accept ethnic mediocrity, where those who had once inspired were openly rebuked, if even mentioned. The collateral effects did not just reflect a decline in positive motivation. The denigration of an aspiratory leadership--in America, as in Europe-- spawned a neurotic guilt complex, where high achieving individuals were taxed--directly or indirectly--to subsidize foreign interests; where immigration policies no longer favored the most compatible--or those with the most needed aptitudes;--but, more & more, the less compatible, and least likely to assimilate, in a seeming quest to deliberately sabotage the cultural continuity of every nation, so afflicted.

And they are at the wealthy end of the “elite.” It resembles the French Revolution, sort of.

Revolutions almost always come from the affluent classes. Poor folk do not have that much free time--or imagination to pull it off.

But the guilt ridden neurotics, who rebel against their family achievements--often because they cannot measure up to their fathers--should not be trusted to find the common sense to actually understand the consequences of what they accept in their fantasy worlds.

American individualism and free market capitalism
cannot be allowed to be portrayed in a favorable light!

To do so casts socialism into the dark shadow of a
failed system that has been tried many times and has
never worked yet, but the socialist zealots believe
it just hasn’t been done right and if they can only have
the reins of absolute power, they could make it work.

It hasn’t produced a paradise and only results in ruin,
deprivation, starvation and death for millions of the
very people they claim they are “helping”.

The only ones who do well under socialism
are the socialist elite! Even the “vanguard”, the zealots,
get thrown under the bus as a threat to the “newly established Order”!!!

The Spirit of '76? Nah, not so much. It was a time of war.
I want a repeat of the Roaring '20's.

Positive aspirations trump even a decade of partying.

Socialism in all its manifestations is a humanistic assault on reality. Yes it always does harm. The very notion that you can alter reality by imposing the wish lists of egalitarian fantasy seekers on economic activity, is analogous to oiling your car with sand.

You never solve anything by denying causation, and the basic Socialist premise, that the free market unfairly exploits the poor, is an absolute denial of the realities of human nature & constructive patterns of human inter action.

Here is another excerpt, which will best describe the thrust, and why it should be helpful in the campaign now unfolding:

This may well be America's Now or Never moment. God Willing we will win the day. At issue is a return to an America with self-respect, firmly endowed with an adventuresome & aspiratory spirit, ready to achieve & honor the "exceptional." An America, where we celebrate, rather than disparage, high achievement--whether material, cultural or spiritual;--where men & women are mated allies, not rivals; where each generation seeks to build on an ever richer foundation, rather than tear down monuments from a once honored past. An America, which rejects to its very core the hate driven culture of envy & resentment, which has come to dominate a not at all loyal opposition.

The amazing part about blatant mewling howling socialists and SJWs is that, real-time the disintegration of Venezuela is occurring. And of course... ZERO current media coverage on the lazy person’s MSM, and neither any coverage of South Africa’s black “racial nationalism” (as obamaumao- who went there to praise the commie PM, and the “expropriation without compensation” of all property (zulu owned and white owned especially politically expedient). Pure communism, which same seizures were done long ago in Venezuela— which also cannot feed itself right now.

A country with proven oil reserves in excess of Saudi Arabia, running its civilization right into destruction by socialist (outright communists quite proud of their idiotic dialectic)- and “leaders” (the presidente is a former bus driver) who have Swiss bank accounts for them and their cronies to rake off the money from the regular “proletariat” they extoll.

One cannot make this up— but it appears in the US the annoying thieves/socialists are bleating their “policy” of re-distribution and cultural marxism from every outlet. They must be destroyed- politically by the Truth— not some meme. And, should they resort to violence (which socialist list as a viable step in “change”)— answer them with 5 fold action.

The organized far left are in panic mode because they were so close to destroying the West with Obama & Hillary, and now, if we just manage the present dynamics right--and it will necessitate carefully threading the "needle," over the coming years;--we have a chance to yet save something of the American heritage!

I really believe that the Academic & ideologue Left, like sharks tasting blood in the water, had hoped to end our culture, as we have known it by harnessing the flood over the Southern border.

Astute and elegant. Love the Kipling. The man was prophetic.

It wasn’t a decade of partying, it was a decade of prosperity.

I also— Kipling is simply dignified Western Culture, eloquent, steadfast and .... burdened with the duty of preserving our Culture and not giving in to the heathens and tribal cretins.

It’s time to revive and watch “The Man Who Would Be King”.

“The Minstrel Boy to the War has gone,
The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
In the ranks of death you’ll find him;
His father’s sword he has girded on,
And his wild harp slung behind him;
“Land of Song!” said the warrior bard,
“Though all the world betrays thee,
One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard,
One faithful harp shall praise thee!”

The Minstrel fell! But the foeman’s chain
Could not bring that proud soul under;
The harp he loved ne’er spoke again,
For he tore its chords asunder;
And said “No chains shall sully thee,
Thou soul of love and bravery!
Thy songs were made for the pure and free
They shall never sound in slavery!”

The slavery that was the enslavement of our ancestor colonists to the yoke of the Brit Empire. We KNEW what slavery was as conducted against indentured servants, and white slaves... long before the muslims marketed the tribal war slaves sold to them by African kings.

I think it was a decade of both—as well as ending with a day of reckoning. (I had a Grandfather who got wiped out in the crash—not that other than trading on margin, he was into the partying.)

You mention Kipling. Here is the poem that provided the theme for my novel--as well as the preface. He truly captured the essence of all that is wrong--totally wrong--with the Leftist vision of social progress:

Wisdom For The Ages

THE GODS OF THE COPYBOOK HEADINGS

As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and
fall.
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them
all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each
in turn.
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly
burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of
Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the
March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. THEY never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor windborne like the Gods of the Market-
Place;
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word
would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its ice field, or the lights had
gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out
of touch.
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even
Dutch.
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had
Wings.
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these
beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised
perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the
tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to
our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "STICK TO THE
DEVIL YOU KNOW."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller
Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving
his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason
and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "THE WAGES OF
SIN IS DEATH."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for
all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our
money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "IF YOU DON'T
WORK YOU DIE."

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued
wizards withdrew,
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to
believe it was true
That all is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make
Four--
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain
it once more.

* * * * * * * * * * *

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man--
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began:
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her
Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the
Fire;
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world
begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his
sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter
return!

--Rudyard Kipling, 1919
