TORONTO The Cleveland Indians have removed the Chief Wahoo logo from the sleeve of their uniforms for a four-game series in Toronto.
The decision to nix the logo was partially driven by a failed legal challenge against the team when it played in Toronto during the 2016 AL Championship Series. While Cleveland played the Blue Jays, a lawsuit was filed to have the logo and team name banned from Canadian TV. A judge dismissed the case.

Bend the knee to these scumbags and it serves the same purpose as chumming for sharks.
You bend the knee, they know they’ve gotten to you and they just come back harder.

Canada is so embarrassing, but America is only about five years behind their goofiness.

What happens if Chief Wahoo is pissed off?

it appears to me that the Canadians are scared to death of all Indians. Their local Natives, known as Inuits have sued the Canadian government for everything under the sun and the wacko Canadian courts have given them almost everything they ever wanted. you know, sort of like all puck no hockey.

So the “World” Series is more aptly named.

Isn’t Tonto a derogatory name for an Indian? I think they should rename their city.

So the World Series is more aptly named.
There are all of two Canaidans on the Blue Jays, and only a handful in Major League Baseball. Most of the greatest players the world over, from Venezuela, Mexico, Japan, Korea, DOminican Republic, etc. play in Major League Baseball, if they can (hard for some Cubans). Based on this, I believe that World Series is a fine moniker as the names don't really indicate the place of origin or even affinity.

Historically they were cowards largely made up of the colonials who left the original 13 states for Canada during the revolution. They claim to be an independent nation but they still curtsy to the Queen.

After time, no indians will be remembered, only shuffled off into the dust bin of history, per political correctness.
