TWITTER BANS ALEX JONES FOR LIFE
World Net Daily ^ | Sept. 6, 2018

Posted on 09/06/2018 3:44:42 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Claims he violates company's 'abusive behavior policies'

WASHINGTON – Alex Jones and Infowars.com Thursday were declared permanently persona non grata at Twitter.

Twitter has banned accounts for the fiery and controversial talker and his website, apparently forever.

It’s not clear if the permanent ban is unprecedented.

Jones is known as an opponent of globalism, a proponent of borders, an attacker of the Deep State and a supporter of President Trump.

All acknowledge he’s got a huge audience and following.

Today, we permanently suspended @realalexjones and @infowars from Twitter and Periscope. We took this action based on new reports of Tweets and videos posted yesterday that violate our abusive behavior policy, in addition to the accounts’ past violations. https://t.co/gckzUAV8GL

— Twitter Safety (@TwitterSafety) September 6, 2018

Jones has now been banned or suspended by Twitter, Apple, Facebook and YouTube.

It is Twitter’s undeniable right to do this.

However, as a result of them choosing to exercise this right, they are no longer exempt from tort action for the content of what they publish.

They are now a publisher. And a hundred lawsuits will be filed by the end of next week.

Test case? Banning Alex Jones tests the waters on banning all dissenting voices?

It is Twitter’s undeniable right to do this.

Actually, due to the DARPA funding of the Internet it is a legal public commons. This shields the providers from liability for things their users say, but it also prevents them from censoring their users.

The "private company" bromide doesn't fly.

Banning Jones from the Internet for what he says is the same thing has banning him from the Interstate highways for what he says.

“Eye Of The Beholder” - Metallica

Do you see what I see?
Truth is an offence
Your silence for your confidence

Do you hear what I hear?
Doors are slamming shut
Limit your imagination, keep you where they must

Do you feel what I feel?
Bittering distress
Who decides what you express?

Do you take what I take?
Endurance is the word
Moving back instead of forward seems to me absurd

Doesn’t matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it’s done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech
Speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

Do you fear what I fear?
Living properly
Truths to you are lies to me

Do you choose what I choose?
More alternatives
Energy derives from both the plus and negative

Do you need what I need?
Boundaries overthrown
Look inside, to each his own

Do you trust what I trust?
Me, myself and I
Penetrate the smoke screen, I see through the selfish lie

Doesn’t matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it’s done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech
Speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

Do you know what I know?
Your money and your wealth
Your silence just to hear yourself

Do you want what I want?
Desire not a thing
I hunger after independence, lengthen freedom’s ring

Doesn’t matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it’s done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech
Speech is words that they will bend
Freedom no longer frees you
Doesn’t matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it’s done just how I say

Alex set up the trap and Twitter fell right into it.

Haha!

Nice move Alex who is always 10 steps ahead.

This move will eventually bring down Twitter over time.

It just time now to play out.

“Actually, due to the DARPA funding of the Internet it is a legal public commons. This shields the providers from liability for things their users say, but it also prevents them from censoring their users. “

Utter and complete nonsense.

DARPA does not fund the Internet. Not even remotely close.

DARPA funded the research in the 60s and 70s to develop Internet Protocol and Addressing. They have had nothing to do with the Internet since.

While it IS arguable “The Internet” is now the public commons, Twitter, Facebook etc. are actually just storefronts on that commons. And ANYONE, ANYONE who chooses to do so can frequent another storefront.

Both users and publishers. Including Alex Jones.

And you.

Learn. Be smart.

Don’t fall for the stupidity somebody has been feeding you.
