President Barack Obama, to the chagrin of some Democrats, has spent much of 2018 on the sidelines to what top party operatives believe is a generational fight against President Donald Trump.
That ends Friday, Obama advisers tell CNN, when the former president unveils his midterm message in a speech that will be a more pointed rebuke of Trump's first years in office.
The speech at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign comes ahead of Obama's first campaign events of the midterms: A rally for a handful of Democratic congressional candidates in California on Saturday and an event for Richard Cordray, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Ohio, on September 13.

People who elected President Trump need to make sure he is supported in Congress to enable him to MAGA, as he intends to do.
The rule used to be that once you stepped down from being president you withdrew from politics, in order to give your successor a chance to do the job. Now the little turds like Obama just snipe from the sidelines.

Yeah, trot this teleprompter reading mediocre out to claim credit for the great economy for which he deserves less than no credit at all.
Cracks me up. This message will be the result of probably a round table of advisors and writers spending hours on it, and it won’t come close to what Trump would spit out spontaneously off the cuff in front of an audience without a teleprompter.
