What do you do when you catch them?
Well, you don't enforce the law, that's for damn sure. That would be racist!
With all do respect, are you joking with me? The laws of this country prohibit the swift prosecution of illegals even when they cross in to the country illegally. when they come in thru ports, they can be released pending a hearing, that may take months.
On top of that you have people violating their green cards and visas. You also have the issue of the wall not being funded. You have the DACA thing... etc.
Trump wants better laws that are directed to chain migration, visa lottery and merit.
Those sound more like bureaucratic rules and procedures, rather than actual laws.
I could be proven wrong, but I'd be willing to bet that those procedures are nowhere to be found in the immigration laws passed by Congress.
I'm of the opinion that we're failing to rigorously enforce the laws we already have on the books.
“I’m of the opinion that we’re failing to rigorously enforce the laws we already have on the books.”
That’s only partly true, but you have things like “Catch and Release” and chain migration, and visa lottery etc.
We’re seeing from this SCOTUS hearing how congress hasn’t does didly. People expect the courts to rule.
The Senate is nothing more than a circus.
Ann seems a little unhinged here. The 2018 elections will be very telling though. One thing I find interesting is the fed now wants all the election data from NC. One thing I never understood is how NC could elect Trump, a Rep legislative body and Dem Roy Cooper to Governor all at the same time. Never made sense to me.
