Fox News host Tucker Carlson started his show Wednesday night claiming he had a “pretty good idea who wrote” the controversial anonymous New York Times op-ed and added that representatives from his show had called the White House for comment.
Earlier in the day, The New York Times published an anonymous op-ed that was allegedly written by a “senior official in the Trump administration.”
According to the op-ed’s anonymous author, “there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment,” against President Trump because of the “instability” many witnessed.

My thoughts also wondered if there’s a connection between McCain being gone and this very big step in the coup attempt. Without McCain or his staff there, the Deep State might have less access . President Trump and his handful of true supporters should be very careful for their lives.

Exactly, it really was a tease for a D.C. pro-union government union propaganda piece. Gerry Connelly, a rabid Northern Virginia liberal politician was the speaker at the union rally.

That wouldn’t make sense, as they’ve been blatant about thwarting and/or taking out Trump since Day One. To write an anonymous piece doesn’t really fit.
Sometimes when Pence is standing behind Trump during a Trump speech I “see” an invisible callout bubble above Pence’s head. The text inside is, “What a putz.” he creeps me out. Supposedly, he’s a good, noble Christian man, but there’s just something about him.
That Shah guy is creepy. But isn’t he just a spokesperson? Is his position important enough to know the ins and outs, or powerful enough, to effect change. But if he’s a Priebus guy, then he’s a Paul Ryan guy.
If, as alleged in the op-ed, there were any “whispers” by any Cabinet member regarding use of the 25th amendment, that Cabinet member should resign for shear incompetence. The high bar of impeachment and conviction to remove from office is exceeded by the 25th amendment, which ultimately would require a 2/3 vote in both the House and the Senate to effectively remove the President from office.
I could see someone making a joke of using the 25th amendment in response to some event - but anyone who actually read the amendment and understands the process required would know the intent was for serious illness and not disagreement with style.
She was my first thought. He husband despises Trump with a passion.
Several months ago she was defending Trump on a major network, either during the campaign or just after he took office. The staff there said that after that taping she made gestures like she had to cleanse her mouth because of the good things she had to say about him.
It’s MSM, and maybe not true, but I always remember that. Never have trusted her 100% after that.

Perhaps Trump is playing the NYT for fools, and setting them up for the plunge. Information now suggest that Trump is considering declassifying the FISA Docs; which has been suggested will shock the nation as to the massive corruption within the DOJ & FBI that will be exposed. Either Trump is setting them up, or the Deep State is reaching a point of desperation in putting out this hit piece.

I remain convinced the leak comes from the Justice Department. Trump is at war with Sessions, a board level ‘inside the white house’ and so is Rosenstein. Pence has no future if he elbows Trump out of the way. He’ll only get a 1/2 term of being president as he has no chance of being elected for what would be his 2nd Term.
LOL! Probably a Trump “Look! Squirrel!” action to keep the MSM occupied while he cuts trade deals, negotiates for world peace, and puts conservative judges in place.

Bob Woodward just published a book making essentially the same allegations as the anonymous Mr. (Op) Ed.
