The Apollo program was lavishly funded by the American Taxpayer.

I have deep roots in the American space program, as my father was a design engineer on the Saturn V booster for Douglas AC and I was a design engineer on the ISS program with McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. I know first hand what AMERICANS kicked in for this “human” achievement.

When a patriotic friend and ISS alum asked if I would be viewing First Man, I voiced my objection to the slight on this American effort and said I would be avoiding First Man’s calumny on American honor.

My hat is off to you and your father. Thank you for your contributions to America’s space exploration efforts.

It just really pisses.me off for some idiotic Canadian actor, who’s sole contribution to humanity is pretending to be someone he is not, just blandly and casually dismiss the enormous sacrifice and hard work, not to mention engineering, manufacturing, organization, and vision that went to make this stunning achievement possible.
I stand in awe of what you and your father achieved. NO WAY am I seeing this movie. Life is too short to waste time watching stupid people.

There are two types of countries:

Those that use metric, and those that have been to the moon.
