Chicago Protesters plan to march on the Kennedy Expressway and O'Hare... on Labor Day... one of the busiest travel days of the year.
What are they protesting, one might ask? Chicago violence. You cannot make this stuff up.
The police have promised to keep the highways flowing, and promise to make arrests if necessary. The protestors' response? "We Shall Overcome!" No, seriously, that's what they said.
Got that? They are equating themselves with Civil Rights Marchers... when complaining about black-on-black violence... AND... they are ennobling their efforts at making hundreds of thousands of people face delays of 2-10 hours on the highways and at the airport... by reminding you that THEY are making the sacrifice here.
So is black-on-black crime a Civil Rights issue? Are blacks racist against blacks? The statistics certainly set to back that up... hmmm.

I don’t in general approve of ramming these terrorists on purpose, but I’m not terribly troubled when Darwin takes a hand. When masked terrorists block a road using tires, or when a mob of terrorists surround a car and beat on the windows, I can completely understand assuming that they pose an immediate danger and responding with the gas pedal.

For those Freepers who are not familiar with Chicago traffic, between O’Hare and downtown, the Kennedy expressway is ALWAYS backed-up. It could be 2 AM and it’s still slow.
So this may be no different than any other day.
