Well, they may be having tourism problems there, but let me tell you, I am on the Santa Barbara coast and I have literally never seen anything like this in my long years on this planet. There is a line of RVs on the coast - camping along the Pacific Coast Highway, 15 miles long without a space in between. I was up in the Santa Ynez Wine Country yesterday, and Solvang looked like freakin Times Square. You could park with a half mile of Main Street, the wineries had no parking space, even the Ostrich Farm had a line a block long to get in. The merchant at my favorite shop in Solvang said theyve never seen anything like this weekend - never sold anything like the volume theyve had since Thursday. Now I see The freeway coming out of Vegas back to SoCal is bumper to bumper for 150 miles. (Glad Im going the other way tomorrow).
Crumbs baby, everyone is loving their crumbs.
I gave a speech at the Reagan Ranch 3 weeks ago & was shocked at how expensive things were in SB. I got my PH D at UCSB & it was nowhere ad out of line with AZ as today.
