I've said my peace on Francis and his likely being a member of the Vatican lavender mafia and possibly a pedophile himself based on his absolute refusal to budge on doing even the smallest thing to stop this abuse. So I'll focus on what he thinks is the real crisis: plastic in the ocean.

I believe that this is the result primarily of paying China to take our trash to landfills in China. They take it in barges and in the middle of the ocean they just dump it overboard and go back to get paid for "disposing" of more. So does he criticize China for this sort of thing or does he focus on western consumers who try to be responsible and recycle and not litter? I think I can guess.
