No one is "approprating Mollie's soul." That belongs to God now. But her death affects us ALL. More accurately, the reason for her death is a concern for us all. You don't own her life, and you don't own her death.

A father grieving the bewildering murder of his daughter must be given much latitude. There is no textbook how to cope with such a tragedy. Sure he was not happy to hear his daughter referred to as “some girl from Iowa” either.
A real skeptic would wonder if someone like George Soros offered him a consideration to make those comments.

Hate to see anything bad coming out of Iowa. Not native by birth nor living there now but graduated high school and college there (Dubuque Sr. High and St, U. Of Iowa). Also, met and married my wife in Iowa City and have an Iowa social security number. Oldest son has lived there 25 years. So I have a very warm spot in my heart and will always be Hawkeye!
