John McCain is being laid to rest at the U.S. Naval Academy after a five-day procession that served as a final call to arms for a nation he warned could lose its civility and sense of shared purpose.
The private ceremony in Annapolis, Maryland, was as carefully planned as the rest of McCain's farewell tour, which began in Arizona after he died Aug. 25 from brain cancer and stretched to Washington.

Trump is always the ‘straw the stirs the drink’.

Im not sure but i think i heard he’ll be buried at Hospital Point. Anywhere else.would be an even greater travesty. JPJs crypt is in the little chapel.

Youll know when its over when the stench goes away.
I predict another 2 days until the media figures out that the people are glad hes gone and even more disgusted with the media than before.

Even fellow Keating 5 Scandal partner John Glenn kept his own funeral to a minimum. Laid in state in Ohio’s Capital, but not in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda...buried in Arlington. No fanfare, no last hateful eulogies. The man was a fighter pilot in two wars, a test pilot, and went into space twice, plus served longer in the U.S. Senate that McLame.

As a midshipman at USNA, I sang in one of the church choirs. Before services...we would warm up in a small memorial chapel ...adjacent to JPJs crypt. After warmups, we would go to the crypt where mess stewards had set up coffee and cookies for us... Always get a kick telling people I had coffee with JPJ every Sunday. And a magnificent sight it is:

And PS: what the *ell were Jared and Ivanka doing there? More than one observer believes that the McCain cabal specifically invited them so they could stick it to them. I imagine they both took it with inscrutible good manners, being socially skilled New Yorkers.
I saw a DailyMail article showing them later that afternoon out jogging in summery sportswear with their children in Georgetown, appearing unruffled. She had on shorts and a beautiful straw sun hat and he was wearing shorts and a gray baseball cap. They have nerves of steel.

Did they post a guard facing the plot? They're going to need CCTV, if they don't have it already. All y'all, be forewarned.

I also believe they know this rally is blowing up in their faces. It seems most people, outside of The Beltway, were appalled at this rally.

"I am old enough to remember Robert Kennedys funeral" And I am old enough to remember JFKs funeral.
I'm older than both of you; I actually met Dwight D. Eisenhower before he died. But my final break with default liberalism was the day-long coverage of OJ fleeing in the white Bronco. I had a million other things to do, but I was glued to the set, unable to look away.

Is McCain dead yet?
Well, no. He’s been dead (or rain-dead, or on terminal life support) for many months now. Is he in the ground yet? Have they staked his body (he has no heart?) and spread garlic on his casket?

He received his injuries from not following proper procedure for ejection. He seemed to do a lot of that. not following proceedures. To give him .0000000188% credit, he did have brain cancer (or so they say). It does ugly things to your brain.
And if you believe all those supposed messages he sent to the world...maybe the actual author should be buried today. There are two plots, you know. Just sayin'....

.What is telling and raises questions is why would McCain not want to be buried at Arlington with his Father and Grandfather?" Hadn't thought of that. Possibly because he couldn't get in for some reason?

Thanks for that link. So, they have a special law for those who have served in Congress.
