She won’t even go to trial, much less get convicted of anything.
It won’t be that she’s “getting a pass”, it will be declared a mistrial (or whatever it’s called when the trial never happens) because all involved are predisposed to a certain outcome.
I would love to be wrong about this, but do you seriously think Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama (or Donald Trump, for that matter) are going to jail? Maybe some lower level scapegoats, but certainly not Ex Presidents, ex or candidates.
Politicians of that notoriety will not be jailed - some other form of punishment will be necessary - public shaming or reprimand - like Nixon or Clinton.
