I was wondering what would happen if the crowds didn’t materialize in AZ after all that gushing and planning.. I haven’t actually seen any reports on the numbers either there or in DC. Does anyone know?
The McCain camp reported 15,000 but those at the Capitol said it was a whole lot less. The trip through the streets, even though the route was well advertised, had only a few scattered here and there in groups of twos and threes.
I heard there were around 3,000 at the church the next day but there are over 4,000 active members. Someone said the schools let out early so the kids could watch but I didn’t see them so don’t know the accuracy of that.
