LOL, wasn’t that where the other one ended???
As a young(er) adult, I accidentally crashed my first funeral. I read about an acquaintance who had died in my local newspaper, and the location of of the services. It was nearby on my way home, and I didn’t recognize the giant photo on display, and the body was old and didn’t match the photo.
My local yellow journal hadn’t specified a date, so I thought it was THAT day.
The funerary staff found the situation funnier than I did, and a lot more than I thought they would.
