I have to second this. It would open the door, as others on this thread have noted, to too much ignorant error on the part of people who don’t really understand the Founding and the Constitution in the first place. And that’s all aside from the deliberate tomfoolery that would ensue from those who want subvert it and would use this opportunity.

The Constitution has worked since 1789; when it is enforced, and the courts pay attention to it, it works even better!
We should leave it alone, or if an amendment is needed, amend it the old fashioned way!
