The FBI and Justice Department had better “start doing their job and doing it right,” President Trump said on Thursday night, warning that if they did not do so, then he would “get involved.”

Ho, hum. Don’t warn....DO IT. President Trump threatened to have a pile of top security revocations, and he didn’t. When he warns those who are part of the coup, it gives them time to gin up their followers and time to find a coup judge who won’t let it happen.

When I open this thread I fully expected this comment.
I will admit I could be wrong but it is my belief the President has a plan. It is a long range plan. One that involves him taking a lot of hits early on.
Look how the Soviets managed to beat the Germans when they invaded Russia. The Germans had a better trained and better equipped Army. What the Soviets had was manpower, size and winter. Rather than fight head on the Soviets fought delaying actions retreating deeper into their own territory.
The deeper they pulled back the shorter their supply line and the longer the German’s supply line until it was relatively easy to cut off the German Army and starve them into submission.
President Trump appears to be playing the long game allowing his enemies to get over confident and make mistakes. He is in effect preparing the battlefield.
There been a remarkable amount of information documenting the bad behavior the previous administration, most of them criminal.
The Mueller investigation has done something I don’t think the Democrats meant to happen, they made it okay to use the legal system to go after political opponents. (Personally I see this a bad thing, but one that will need to be done if the swamp is every to be drained)
This tweet is not really directed at the FBI, DOJ but at the American people. Trump is showing he has patiently waited to allow the justice system to work, at the same time showing that they are corrupt by covering up the criminal acts of the previous administration.
You say “Do it”, I say he is doing it, but on his time table . I trust he knows more about what is going on then we do so I am willing to give him the benefit of doubt.
I’ve been hoping that Trump is patiently letting the “big fish”—i.e., sharks—nibble away at the worms he’s allowing them swallow until they forget they’re attached to whale of a hook!
At some point we have to face the possibility that Trump is doing just enough to keep his base but not enough to damage the Trump framily’s Seat at the table.
Someone should have stepped in way back before 9/11 on Mueller. Remember when he closed the file on the Boston Bombers and did nothing but “watch” so many other terrorists kill our citizens. Mueller and Brennan. Nothing has changed in the departments. Deep swamp creatures out to bring down the USA.

Don’t think so. The left is not forgiving. Trump will never be welcomed back into the world he once was a member of. He is smart enough to know that. No, the only thing that makes sense is that he is waiting for the right moment.
I gave up great confidence in "a plan" when there wasn't that suggested pile of Security Clearance revocations on desks Monday AM a few weeks ago.
Yeah, I still support President Trump. This is "in the family" discussion on FR....I do not express these concerns anywhere else.
(speaking of family, President Trump would do better if we early supporters were his governing family instead of the Prince and Princess. And Donald Jr. leaving wife and all those kids for a TV reporter is a real bad look)
The evidence for deep state conspiracy might look obvious to us, but it's not that obvious from a legal standpoint. Putting a spy like Halper into Trump's campaign to encourage "Russian collusion" is one of the most short-sighted banana republic moves I can imagine. But it might have been legal.
The best option is to have Congress to refer perps for charges as part of their oversight.
The "plan" has always been a red herring pushed by Q types. Nothing more. MAGA is a plan. Defending against partisan attacks is figure-it-out-as-you-go. But while there is no plan, there are goals. Goal #1, don't start impeachment proceedings. That would tie up Congress and nothing will get done (yes, we are not getting much done, but we are getting some stuff passed).
Goal #2, make the TDS types reveal themsevles to Americans. Americans, other than the strong minority of Trump haters simply want normalcy. Sending out clearance revocations one at a time is one strategy. It is proper and normal and it unhinges the TDS types. Sending them all at once is a different strategy which I'm not sure is better since it gives the leftist lawyers a class of victims to argue for, and it does not look normal.

This is Judo , their momentum is going to fling them into the abyss (Levinworth)... they are being exposed publicly ... and after FL primaries this week the indications are NO BLUE wave... RED will prevail... I think we start to see “unmaskings” of redacted documents and arrests after the midterms.

Good thoughts. But I think we have all been told “nothing is happening because of a bigger plan” for 2 YEARS now. Every morning another nail in the coffin is exposed...I’m no longer sure it is a coffin. I’m starting to think it is just a misnamed box for holding nails. No more “part of a bigger plan” crap for me. Lock her up, Fire them without pensions, appoint a REAL special prosecutor and make them ACCOUNTABLE with tangible (not theoretical) PUNISHMENT. This was a real coup attempt, the blood would be dry at the firing squad’s final place by now if this were any other country but the USA.
