Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral. Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony.
McCain fundraiser Carla Eudy confirmed to People that Palin had not been invited possibly, People speculated, at the behest of the McCain family.
The news comes on the tenth anniversary of the date in 2008 when Palin was announced as McCains pick for Vice President.
Palin now joins President Donald Trump on the list of those barred from the funeral.
But unlike Trump, Palin never feuded with McCain and never criticized him.
When news broke on Saturday of McCains passing, Palin said: Today we lost an American original. Sen. John McCain was a maverick and a fighter, never afraid to stand for his beliefs. John never took the easy path in life and through sacrifice and suffering he inspired others to serve something greater than self.
John McCain was my friend. I will remember the good times. My family and I send prayers for Cindy and the McCain family.

You, me, and many others.
Palin was to damned good for McCain, she was attacked many times after 2008 and Johnny DID JACK F***ING SQUAT to defender her.... Palin did plenty out of loyalty to defend McCain...
McCain is a slime ball.
Vindictive till the end.
Vindictive from his grave.
What a way to go.
Serving a cause greater than one’s self?
LOL.
Agree, she would have been better off if he picked someone else.
Two peas in a pod! Despised by the Fake News People, loved by We The People.
I wrote in Palin.
You forget one thing. RoveBushUniparty was ALREADY taking a stand against Sarah Palin for her stand on the Pebble Mine...
... in 2006. Those Orwellian Pig Elites want Alaska’s natural resources, and the AK constitution actually gives ownership to the people of Alaska.
(I’m sure this will change as quickly as the NWO Elites can change it)
EXACTLY!
Only reason I voted against Obama was Palin.
This doesn’t surprise me at all. She is better off staying away from Sh!tstain’s funeral rather than give this monster pos any more of her time.
I’m not one to pull punches when I deal with evil like this was so I have no problem voicing my opinion...I’m glad he’s dead and I hope he suffers in hell 100 times as long as he made us suffer.
Ditto. Good.
This man, and his smarmy wife and his useless spawn are nothing but scum. Sarah Palin has more class in her left ear lobe than any of these people have ever possessed or ever will posses.
Even in death that rotten bastard insults and betrays Sarah.
Disgusting.
To paraphrase Mark Twain:
I wasn’t invited to the funeral but I did send a nice letter heartily endorsing it.
Ahh...brings back memories of her bus tour leading the media on a chase. Her lunch meeting with Donald Trump in NYC. Nit picking media SOBs commented on DJT eating pizza with a knife and fork. Heady days.
He blamed Palin for losing the election. Honestly, the election was list before that
OH MY!!!...I forgot that I had a bottle of champagne chilling for about a month now, so time to pop the cork!
Salute!
McCain and family: Fools in life, continuing their tradition in death. McCain would have lost his presidential election even more dramatically without Palin. She brought him voters in large numbers.
He had no chance against the novelty of Obama in awful economic times, but if your candidate has to lose no one deserves it more than McCain.
There was a video years ago about a GOP computer voting machine expert.
He laughed uproariously when he discussed the Alaskan Presidential returns for 2008, with the lowest turnout since 1940 for the state, and Alaska wasn’t even a state until 1959.
Through his snickering, he said that a low turnout like that is the hallmark of a tampered vote, but it defies sensibility that both Palin’s Alaskan friends and enemies wouldn’t have gone to the polls in 2008.
His laughter lasted for just one day, though. The day after that video was posted, another RNC voting machine IT expert died mysteriously in a plane crash. I think his name was Mike McConnell or something like that.
Didn’t hear from the GOP video guy much after that.
