This was only one method of distribution, some others were draft emails (that didn’t get sent just read by others with access to the account), X box live accounts, and Blackberry peer to peer downloads. She may not have known about the hack, but Peter Strzok did. That is on record. Strzok was informed about it, but did nothing. Not even a damage assessment. Worse, the FBI is covering up the fact that they said they reviewed all the messages, when in actuality, they examined less than a tenth of them.

And then openly lied about it, insisting they used special technology to look for duplicate messages and thus had it covered.

Pagliano and Cooper were warned about hacking attempts on the server and eventually told the FBI to bothering them.
