I saw an F-4 once nose up just above the treetops rocking back and forth as it came toward us. It looked like it was walking on the tree tops. Impressive demonstration!
Used to live just off of the Flight Path decades ago at Bergstrom AFB (now the Austin Bergstrom Intergalactic Airport) and it was F-4’s all day going in and out for Recon Training Flights. BAFB was the only Training Wing for F-4 Recon.
Man, that pilot had to have been playing with the thrusters like a gamer on joysticks.
It had to have been hard on the engines.
