Tuesday Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told reporters on Capitol Hill that he had “total confidence,” in his former U.S. Senate colleague Attorney General Jeff Sessions. McConnell said, “I have total confidence in the attorney general. I think he ought to stay exactly where he is.”

So Sessions was an early, enthusiastic supporter of Trump, the first Senator, in order to conduct a silent coup when he won, which at the time appeared to be next to impossible because all the polls and pundits were predicting an easy Hillary win. You are viewing history in your rear-view mirror, and imputing retroactive knowledge to its actors. Mitch McConnell might be supporter Jeff Sessions for any one of a number of reasons:
1. He’s ineffective, or at least seems to be so.
2. Trump keeps complaining about him.
3. He’s a friend and colleague and really has the southern gentleman thing down.
4. Fauxhcohantas hates him because he stopped a ballot-box-stuffing scheme in Alabama once.
5. He is quietly doing something important and significant, which might even be pleasing in the eyes of Trump. Might even put the Evil Witch behind bars until her hanging.
I’m sure the Clinton/Obama crime syndicate threatened Sessions and/or his family.
Tells me McConnell is up to his eyeballs in corruption as well.
McConnell, Sessions and Trump all have a secret pack to impeach Trump, imprison the First Family, and bankrupt Trump’s businesses.
Then Trump comes roaring back, with triple power, wearing a Superman cape, and they all build the Wall.

Recent reports suggest Mcturdle has funneled millions to his wife via various influence scams. These dorks all play the game in similar fashion. While they cannot accept lobbyist/foreign/ influence cash, nothing prevents family members from doing so. Most of the swamp has become quite wealthy from this and insider trading (through funneled “tips”) to family members.
It aint tough to steal if you can worm your way to “public feral service”. Which explains why so many are willing to remain at the trough for so long.
