Yep, harvest time gets pretty rough around here when it cranks up. It lasts a while, too, since fields are planted at different times and harvested accordingly and they’re scattered all around the county. We go through a LOT of Kleenex. LOL

The first day of autumn is less than a month away now. No surprise trees are starting to turn up north. Won’t be all that long before they start turning here. I noticed the Rose of Sharons around the yard are turning already but they start as soon as they stop blooming.

We’re looking forward to cooler temps but I’m not ready for the rest of autumn.

Our trees don’t lose their leaves until late November unless there is an early hard freeze. Then the leaves simply turn black and fall in a clump overnight. it’s ugly! LOL!
