Scott Adams: If Donald Trump Goes Down, Hillary Clinton Goes to Prison
Breitbart ^ | August 26,2018 | Joel B. Pollak

Posted on 08/26/2018 3:07:04 PM PDT by Hojczyk

Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert and popular political prognosticator, floated a theory of “mutually assured destruction” on Sunday morning: if prosecutors pursue President Donald Trump, he will make sure that Hillary Clinton and her allies go to jail.

Adams said that his theory explained why Trump had retained Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, even while attacking him for failing to pursue charges against Hillary Clinton, as well as members of the “deep state” who had conspired to spy on the Trump campaign.

The goal, he said, was to make sure prosecutors understood there was a “red line” they could not cross — because doing so would trigger Sessions’s replacement with a prosecutor who would take down Trump’s enemies:

Let me ask you this — and I’ve not seen any reporting on this: what would happen if they actually got the president on something serious? Well, between the time the president knew he was going down — and this is hypothetical, let’s imagine that they found something in his business or something that was problematic — he would have a number of months of being in power before he was technically out of office. What would he do? Well, I think he would employ “mutually assured destruction” — not of the world, but of Hillary Clinton.

Adams later specified that the “red line” for Special Counsel Robert Mueller was any investigation into the broader finances of the Trump Organization, which had nothing to do with the 2016 presidential election or allegations of Russian “collusion.”

"no way Congress would not take steps..."

What would the Mafia do in that situation? The risk of HRC taking them down?

*Nothing personal. Just business.

I believe Trump, when he was sworn in was willing to let Hillary skate but I think he means to humiliate her and the Dems now...

Mueller is already poking around in Trump’s corporate finances, and has given certain execs immunity so they can sing, compose or whatever. I know not how it will all shake out; but Trump WILL be President through 2024.

What is Mr. Adams waiting for? Why has he not filed charges or empaneled a Grand Jury to indict Hillary?

Because he's not a sitting Congress-critter trying to convince the low-information-voter types that he's looking out for himself them?

I heard someone say that a sitting President cannot be prosecuted for a criminal offense while in office, because it would prohibit him from doing his job well AND/OR from proving himself’ innocent until proven guilty’, which is his legal right. I think it was on LegalInsurrection.com

Pardon my cynicism but playing defense is a losing strategy, one that fits perfectly with the Rats strategy to dump Trump.

Sessions is a deep state plant. Once Trump is credibly accused of a serious crime, Sessions will ignore Trump’s belated orders to get Clinton, as will most of the Justice Dept leadership. If Trump then fires Sessions, Rosenstein will also ignore Trump, even as Congress refuses to consider another Trump AG. Trump is helpless without the Justice Dept.

Trump made 2 serious mistakes upon taking office: He put a deep state politician in charge of Justice, someone who is loathe to prosecute one of their own (for fear of collateral damage), & he failed to insist that Justice go after Clinton & company on Day One. When you have the enemy by the throat, never let go until they are dead, dead, dead.

Trump was feeling both over-confident & generous after the 2016 win. It may well cost him his presidency.

In the last 20 months of the Trump presidency, does anybody see any evidence the JD is seriously going after Clinton & Co.? I don’t. Even with mountains of evidence against Clinton & a host of Rat operatives, there has been virtually nothing. Obviously, no one in the JD leadership is interested in pursuing Clinton & the Rats. Why then would anyone expect that to change the minute the Trump presidency is threatened?

Scott Adams believes in the Tooth Fairy.

Whether muellar has anything or not, he has to give the impression that he does. Partly to keep the dems engaged and hopeful, plus he has to keep it going at least till the mid terms, in the hope they can manufacture charges.

Hillary’s going to prison, and Trump is not going down.

I’m not Trump, but Jr. Hasn’t been indicted. Doubt that he will at this point.

“Threatening Jeff Sessions but not moving on it...” Yes, another curious move by President Trump. Adams perspective is always worth studying. My hunch is that Trump is staying for a second term, John McCain recently confessed, Soros will be busted and the rest will follow. No need to play cat and mouse with traitors over Sessions.

".... Go read some of Stone's predictions over the last few years and then get back to me. He's about as reliable as a rain dance when it comes to predicting things....."

You need to tap on the brakes a couple of times and slow down. Not sure why you're jumping on me. At no time did I imply or claim to back what Stone said.

I was merely pointing out a Breitbart article about Stone predicting something that seemed to tie-in to the "red line crossing" discussion in the thread. That being a Don Jr. indictment.

I never said anything about agreeing with Stone's predictions.

There is great fear in Washington that HRC has the dirt on almost everyone of any consequence in that city. They fear that not only will crooks & perverts lose their jobs, but that the government may well collapse if she opens her veritable Pandora’s Box.

This is THE reason Clinton will never be prosecuted.

Make a pit bull out of Pence. Not easy because he is a nice guy, not a so and so like Trump. Have Pence say he will do all KINDS of —outrageous—- things if he takes over from DJT and will deliver matters upon the Dems even worse than Trump. And yes, threaten that an impeachment will trigger legal scorched earth upon Hillary by President Pence. Turn it into a Mexican standoff and make the perceived cost of going through with impeachment extremely high, they won’t want to pay it. Trump should coordinate such a tactic with Pence, like yesterday

"Then a jury has to find her guilty."

And a jury that realizes they and their families will be marked for death by the Clinton crime mob if they do.

The article doesn't identify any false statements.

But I do know that Mueller and the judge and/or jury are the ones to decide if a false statement was made. It's not up to Don Jr. or you or I.

It does say the Stone predicts an indictment of Don Jr. in a process crime, which is basically getting caught in a trap by the prosecutors so they can nail you for "lying to the FBI".

I was merely pointing out that indicting Don Jr. would more than likely cross Trump's "red line" for the Mueller witch hunt having gone one step too far.

It would precipitate some action by Trump. Putting his foot down to stop this could get ugly.

This is nonsense. First u have to indict her. Then a jury has to find her guilty. Good luck with both.
