McCain was nominated on the Republican ticket. He was widely praised then on Freep as a war hero and a solid conservative.
The first audience of the Royal Nonsuch was conned into seeing the obscene antics of the King and the Duke. They then conned the rest of the town into seeing it. On the third showing, they were laying for them, but the King and the Duke neglected to hang around awaiting their fate.
We were conned into supporting McCain for POTUS in ‘08. Maybe South Park was right, and it was all a setup. But he’s gone now. I’m relieved, and having voted for him in ‘08, I was conned along with everyone else.
I would have had to get as drunk as Teddy to even consider voting for him, even over Jimmuh. So he’s fair game. So’s Helen Thomas, Janet Reno, David Dinkins whenever he croaks...

I’ve been watching “WW II in Color” on NetFlix this weekend. Not willing to sit through all the lies about how that sleazeball McCain was so great.
