“But I know if I had not stopped back then, I wouldn’t be here.”

You don’t know that——life is a crapshoot.
.
The Top? You mean Nancy Pelosi? She was the Top in Congress. Not John Boehner...
Look, the MEDIA thinks they get to decide who to blame, and it is ALWAYS Republicans. Don’t fall for it, too.
Not me, I voted for Sarah Palin.
So did we.
To think of it Palin has some Trump like qualities “ Crony Capitalism” etc, so the MSM needed to destroy her, and for what its worth i think Johnny M gave the wink and nod to it..
The Senators decide. Thats the way it works.
Not that Congress wouldn’t do that....in the ‘spirit of bipartisanship’....but, at least We the People could attempt to voice our disdain/dislike, over this choice.
Might even be drunk.
It’s just that what are the odds that a guy five from the bottom of his class of over 800 people would wreck his plane in Vietnam, be in another plane that killed so many people, and wasn’t there another airplane crash?
And there’s serious assertions that since America didn’t want to deal with Vietnam any more that McCain maybe lied about POW’s left behind.
What are the odds?
Well...I’m late to the party today, but thanks, AB...I see we are getting a “Wellstone Memorial” type of Sunday for the late Senator from Arizona....gag
Like someone posted, the first few days (which can feel like years) are the hardest! :(!
But, you’re a far better woman than I, Gunga Onyx, and I’m sure you WILL succeed in quitting, notecard or not! :)!
HaHaHaHaHa.
I would have had nothing left from my $10 bill!
EIGHT DOLLARS for a pack of KOOL BLUE 100’s!
I nearly fell OVER! EIGHT DOLLARS!
That’s 40 cents per cig, right?
Great thread this week! We don’t thank you often enough. Always a must-hit for my early pre-pre-church Sunday viewing.
Then you said:
This week it appeared DJT needed the salve.
I replied DJT was not butt hurt this week. Butt hurt means you're sad and reacting to something someone else did.
Donald J Trump has lived through and triumphed over the "Grab Her" tape, "Mexicans are rapists", actually beating Hillary in the election and since then, the whole "Russian Collusion" bullshit.
The media this week is trying to tell us that Trump is butt hurt over Manafort/Cohen guilty. You echoed it.
I disagree. All this shall pass.
And how many in South Florida?
It's not particularly easy to figure out the truth, but there are obviously lots of causal factors in the Forrestal incident and the McCain "wet start" triggering a power surge is not a necessary one. Doesn't mean it didn't happen that way, but I would dig a little more into that particular one before I passed judgment on it.
“I get past the hard part and then I get bored and think, “what the hell.” Off to see the Native Americans to buy tax free. “
I said,”What the hell” too-—and here I am at age 85.
I don’t care anymore-—and have lost too many friends who had never smoked or quit years ago.
.
.
Appreciate your input Palmer.
Have you met my cousin, Mike? Also known as Kabar? He usually sets me straight on such things.
He’s had TWO airplane crashes and that questionable incident on the Forrestal.
Again, What are the odds?
Well, God bless and keep you, sweetest Mears!
I’m just now starting to get short of breath, so I’m done.
I have too many other medical issues to add “shortness of breath.” No cough or anything else lung related. (Knocking on wood). You’re the best and I love you.
THAT is the question! How many in South Florida?
BTW, Face the Nation is hard to take!
Bob Schieffer is relating his tribute.
Of course, McCain is FTN’s most popular (frequent) guest -— appeared 112 times.
Flake is relating his thoughts.
AND I think I heard that F. John Kerry is going to appear, too.
I guess it can get worse ... and it shall.
Even it required a Presidential signature, I would expect that there would be enough votes to overcome any veto by the WH.
You are most welcome!
Words like yours makes it very worthwhile to do.
