Jackson ruled that while the president has the authority to issue executive orders relating to federal labor relations, the orders cannot “eviscerate the right to bargain collectively” as envisioned in a long-standing federal statute.

eviscerate ???

This bone headed black robed tyrant needs a dictionary....and impeachment for good measure...

This stereotype judge is legislating from the bench and she knows she will be overturned. Just pandering to the radical left as usual. Unions. And as a matter of fact, what does the ability to fire federal workers easier have to do with “collective bargaining”????

Stupidity and leftist politics jumps right out....

"Once again a judge overstepping their authority and making legislation from the bench..."

That should be sufficient for a Republican-controlled Congress to impeach this leftwing activist judge.

Oh, wait! I forgot that the Republicans in Congress are gutless cowards or RINOcrat buttboys. Nevermind.

Doesn’t Trump have the power to remove Unions from Government period ?

Yes, he does. Federal workers were unionized by executive order, and can be abolished the same way.

Judges can’t be fired. Clinton fired DA’s, which is often custom unless you’re a wanna-be-liked-Republican.

Given that the entire purpose of government is to populate the country with useless democrat civil servants, I can understand why this judge ruled the way he did.

““The President must be deemed to have exceeded his authority in issuing (the orders),” Jackson ruled.”

Excuse me please! WHO exceeded authority!?

We must expect that judges of this ilk will support the unions every time. However, other judges might rule on the same side. In the long run, this will require legislation and the larger issue of the validity of public unions should be addressed.

There should be no collective bargaining among government workers.

If this is true, then Trump is being advised by toadstools. Should have been done within hours of his swearing-in.

More and more the Trump presidency is making it obvious that female judges seem to have no hesitation to just toss the law and rule on how they feel it ought to be. A leftist prosecutor or lawyer can get them to rule in favor of anything without even the barest of precedent or legal logic behind.

“envisioned in a long-standing federal statute”

Did she ever provide a reference to said statute??

I had a GS employee who was incapable of working with anyone. He was regularly shuffled off in a truck to inspect remote areas (basically mess around all day). He started a fight with some airmen we had detailed into the shop. Since I was NCOIC, I told him to knock it off. He kept escalating until he threatened to kill me. Long story sort—we spent 6 months working with the union to get him out (Even the union rep said he had to go). He ended up quitting before he got fired.

Ridiculous doesn’t come close to describing how detrimental “public service” unions are. They should all be summarily outlawed. By definition, they are against the public good.
