In the late Sixties, "Good Golly, Miss Molly" was banned from AM radio by many stations. The problem was the line, "Sure likes to ball." In 1958, the verb "to ball" meant to have a ball, to have a good time. By 1968, the verb "to ball" meant to have sexual relations.

Today, with the High Ebonic verb "to bone" having replaced "to ball," there is no longer a problem.
