Lunacy on the Left Coast: As you’ve likely heard, the city of San Francisco has a bit of a homeless problem, and as such, city taxpayers are spending a king’s ransom every year to deal with it.
Two of the newest ‘additions’ to San Fran’s Public Works staff are personnel dedicated to cleaning up after the homeless. That includes picking up their used drug needles and their human feces — the latter for a whopping $184,000-plus dollars per year per “Poop Patrol” employee.

With overtime, the chief of UC San Fran General Hospital one year pulled in $500,000.
They also had a Chinese BART (subway) janitor who one year racked up mega overtime and made about $300,000:
Video showed he’d come into work at 6:30 am, disappear into a utility closet (internet?) and then only re-emerge to depart, at 10 pm.
He did that day after day after day, and no one really noticed.
About the same salary as a US Congressperson.
And even at that rate, they probably would have to live in 0akland to survive on that salary, Sham Fanshitsco is so outrageously expensive to live in.

1) take the $180,000 plus salary.
2) Pay some derelicts or college bums $100 cash per day and all the reefer they can smoke to actually do the work.

How else are they going to be able to afford living in the Bay Area? I don’t think you want the poop patrol members to be homeless too.
In a sane city they would have hired a private contractor that would have provided five pooper scoopers for the price of one San Franshitsco pooper scooper. No wonder a city that is less than 50 square miles in size has a budget similar in size to the State of Alaska, which is almost 14,000 times larger in size.
All that money they spend on homeless only goes to gov employees.
It would be less than social justice if the scooper squads are not tasked with taking random stool samples daily and sending them to a new early-marked lab to make sure the homeless in any given area of the city’s homeless voting population are not getting vitamin or mineral deprived. If they are, send food and vitamins and just keep testing until everyone leaves a perfect sample.
What? Even in Cali, that's hard to believe.
But these San Fran workers clean it up, rather than dump it.
This is not so outrageous.
these folks need to live in the Bay Area where a 2 bedroom apt costs $4000/month.
And then they have to pick up the sh!t of San Francisco’s street denizens...likely in full hazmat suits.
