I’ve been as big a detractor of John McCain as I could be here. Now that he is on his death bed, I am not happy that he is near death. I am happy he is near the end of his ability to harm this nation.

I, too, hope he has repented of his misdeeds so that he will be saved. Our Lord wants no one to perish, but does not keep us on training wheels forever towards the narrow gate.
If he has not seen the damage his ill temper and actions have caused, it is unfortunate for the country that he will escape the consequences of this world about his role in the attempted coup.
However, Divine justice will yet be served, as it will for us all.
You know, I wonder about that. I wonder if he is a Disbeliever. I'll bet he is. Can't imagine going through life without knowing the Lord. Probably worse for McCrisis if he decided to walk away after Vietnam.
