Wait a second.....if you read carefully, nowhere does it say he still has cancer......it just says he is ‘discontinuing treatment’, leaving the impression/ implication that he is terminal.

I think that this is just a very clever and convenient smoke screen to hide from what is coming down the pipeline...the HE is the one, along with Mitt Romney and Bill Kristol, who are integrally tied to the phony dossier.

From departure onward, odds are Ted slipped. His tank was topped off with Chivas or whatever.

These kinds of statements about glioma patients usually means they are going to stop steroid use. That means hours or a few days for the brain to swell such that it crushes the brainstem and that does it.

These "revelations" about the dossier will take months to uncover.

I’m not a fan, either. I wish he’d retired two decades ago to enjoy his declining years as a private citizen. (You, too, Sen. Orrin Hatch!)

You can say that about 80% of today's Senate. Won't be any "reform", fiscal or otherwise, until every Congress critter over the age of 65 is purged from DC (and I'll be 65 next year, BTW).

I remember how Rostenkowski was hounded by blue haired ladies in 1989 over a Medicare tax. These guys would rather saddle the younger generations with debt than lose their power and perks of office.

I can't be the first to post Curly wow.

At any rate, deep, deep irony that McCrisis passing will eat 2 maybe 3 news cycles hopefully right after Labor Day, which is the traditional launch of the fall campaign.

Wrong-footing the media and the Democrats at the start of an important election season would be a valid parting gift from the 1999 McCain, who voted Guilty! on both Bill Clinton's Perjury article and Obstruction of justice article.

It was more important for McCain to die as a sitting Senator than as a former Senator? I guess he really wanted his last dying breath to be denying President Trump a Republican vote in a razor-thin majority in the Senate.

I’ve been as big a detractor of John McCain as I could be here. Now that he is on his death bed, I am not happy that he is near death. I am happy he is near the end of his ability to harm this nation.

John has been the wrong person at the wrong place at the wrong time his whole life, until now...

Finally, he has found his true calling. Bye John.

Detecting brain cancer can be kind of tricky because the disease’s onset and progress is usually undetectable until some major dramatic event occurs that requires examination of the brain’s functioning..

Remember Robert (Bob) Novak, the famous news reporter, TV commentator and columnist?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Novak#Final_years

He only found out he had brain cancer after he struck a pedestrian in a DC crosswalk while turning. The pedestrian was only mildly injured due to the low speed Novac’s car was moving at. But what disconcerted the reporter was that he had not only not seen the pedestrian, he didn’t even realize he had even had an accident at all until stopped by a witness about a block from the accident scene.

Subsequent examination revealed he was essentially blind on his left side due to the brain tumor. He was still visually functional because of compensation over the long period of gradual decline to blindness on his left side. The blindness was not in his left eye but in the portion of the brain that processed its optical information.

He was 77 at the time of the accident.

Both Senator Ted Kennedy and Republican Party political consultant Lee Atwater only discovered they had brain cancer after experiencing seizures. They were asymptomatic prior to the event. At the time of their seizures, Kennedy was 77, Atwater was only 39.

Good for him, but I’m sorry to see he won’t prolong his suffering. Good riddance a$$hole.

Thank you so much. My wife is 78. She had a lumpectomy about five years ago. She’s been in pain for a long time, and started using a cane last Fall, then became bedridden in January.

We didn’t learn until April she has bone mets that have eaten into her spine, nearly reaching the spinal column.

Her first PET scan in late May showed spots with 12 to 15 luminosity. Results were in yesterday from her second one showing luminosity of 5, so there is improvement. She’s been on estrogen blocker Letrozole for about six weeks, and I’m trying to keep the carbs away from her but that’s a battle.

She had twenty days of radiation on her spine and right hip. I have hope that she will walk again, while she is believing God she will be restored.

I, too, hope he has repented of his misdeeds so that he will be saved. Our Lord wants no one to perish, but does not keep us on training wheels forever towards the narrow gate.

If he has not seen the damage his ill temper and actions have caused, it is unfortunate for the country that he will escape the consequences of this world about his role in the attempted coup.

However, Divine justice will yet be served, as it will for us all.

"...mountainbike triggershift or gripshift..."

My preference is for triggershiting. I find it more intuitive on mountainbikes.
For transparency...I am also very fond of Campagnolo drivetrains for roadbikes.
