WASHINGTON — Senator John McCain of Arizona, who has been battling brain cancer for more than a year, will no longer be treated for his condition, his family announced on Friday, a sign that the Republican war hero is most likely entering his final days.
“Last summer, Senator John McCain shared with Americans the news our family already knew: He had been diagnosed with an aggressive glioblastoma, and the prognosis was serious. In the year since, John has surpassed expectations for his survival. But the progress of disease and the inexorable advance of age render their verdict,” the family said in a statement. “With his usual strength of will, he has now chosen to discontinue medical treatment.”

It is odd. Everyone is acting like this is an announcement of his death. Without treatment means it may be days or it may be months. Even FOX is so anxious for news they are practically pushing the man into his grave so they can have several days of mourning.

My previous post said I’ll give him until the end of August. I now think he’s already pushing daisies and it’ll be announced by the end of the weekend.
Nowadays, with the compliance of the media and the family, you can keep someone on the tubes (breathing, water, nutrition, waste disposal, even kidney filtration and new blood) for nearly forever.
Then, at some convenient time after the primary, this gives them cover to pull the plug “as a hero” than as “piece of hate-filled, anti-Trump lettuce”
