Warning: when you invite a flamboyant, retired lawyer in his 80s onto your show, you might wind up getting foul language on the air, along with wild conspiracy theories.
Joe Scarborough learned that lesson the hard way today when he invited Martin London onto Morning Joe. London served as a lawyer to Spiro Agnew, and recently wrote a column suggesting that President Trump should consider resigning. At one point, London’s audio cut out, and when it came back, Scarborough said he hoped that his executive producer Alex Korson had hit the seven-second delay. We don’t know what London said — maybe there’s a good lip reader out there — but he apologized: “sorry about that.”
Later, Scarborough asked John Heilemann who was paying Paul Manafort’s legal bills, given that Manafort is “broke.” Heilemann said:
“I do not know the answer to that, but apparently Martin does. He suggested to me, passing me a note right here, that says that he thinks Donald Trump is paying his legal bills.”
When Heilemann asked London what he knows about that, London admitted: “I don’t know anything. I don’t have any facts.”

Now there’s a resume highlight that’s sure to open doors for you!
45 years after Agnew’s resignation, this guy is still trying to cash in on his 15 minutes of fame. He scores a column in Time [which apparently still exists] and an appearance on Morning Joe.
I highly doubt Trump is paying anyone’s legal bills but his own.
Go mention Agnew, and roughly 80-percent of the nation have no idea who he was....some might even suggest that he was for some period of time the Commissioner of the NFL. So most of the folks watching Morning Joe are at a loss to figure out who this Agnew guy was.

Per London’s bio, he graduated from Cornell in 1955. If he was 21 at the time, that would make him 84 today.
I think you nailed it. The MSM will be dragging out lots of other Nixon-era relics. Carl Bernstein will be in his glory.

Expect this to be reported as FACT all weekend by the MSM. Chuck Todd will be sure to mention that it COULD be true, then have a couple loud libs on, to defend that idea.
Someone should print the above on hats and t-shirts and distribute them in all LibDemProg strongholds.
