Since it began, you can only run a person’s info through E-Verify AFTER, you have hired them, If it comes back no good, you must print a form off their website and present it to the employee, and it gives them the choice of a)Quitting and running b) Presenting the employer with new/corrected info or c) Meeting in person with the agency to determine the problem. I think the employer ought to be able to run the ID’s BEFORE the person is hired.
Of course it should be before one is hired. And if an employee provided fake info, the employer should have every right to fire him.
