Mr, President, please call a presser and just do it....

Call a primetime presser and announce the firing of that useless and gutless AG we have along with that crooked Deputy AG. Play dirty just like them...you have my support.

What do you have to lose? NOTHING!

After you fire their sorry asses, appoint someone (maybe DiGenova) that will convene a special council and turn the tables on these bastards and investigate them.

I am so sick of the SH*T that's taking place in my country.

DO IT MR.TRUMP!

There is no lateral move. If the AG position is open, there has to be hearings and a vote in the Senate. No one just moves from one position to another - not allowed.

We NEED more seats in the senate to get a NEW AG through!!! If we could just get 2 or 3 more in the midterms it will be clear sailing for Trump!!! Trump will be on the campaign trail consistently working hard for what he needs!!! I PRAY he succeeds!!!

You represent more ignorance on FR. This has been all over the news for the last year and some months on every radio show, TV show, newspapers and political web sites. This isn't my opinion, but is reality.

Trump was told by the Republican House that if he fired Sessions, he would be impeached. He was told by the Senate, that if he fired Sessions they would not vote on a replacement. In fact, I'm sure you are aware, that the Senate never goes out of session to prevent Trump from making a recess appointment in case he does fire Sessions.

Trump has heeded these warnings and is the reason why Sessions is still in office. It really isn't worth it to throw away his presidency over Sessions.

Many here know about this, but many people here do not. I can't account for why you don't know this, but that is really your issue, not mine. Google is your friend. Helps ignorant people like you.

Obstruction or firing an employee of the United States who won’t do his job. An employee who serves at the Presidents desire.
Sessions accepting a job, then almost immediately recusing himself from a plethora of potential cases he would be directly responsible for, is derilection(sp?) of duty. Trumps error was not firing him immediately upon his stating his recusal notice!
F Sessions!! Traitor to America

Joe called Sessions "blind" tonight on Hannity.

Perhaps Joe likes the Sessions-McGoo comparison.

The swamp will impeach him no matter when he does it, so he might as well keep on trucking along and do what he can for us until that happens. Firing sessions will just trigger the impeachment sooner.

This has been all over the news for the last year and some months on every radio show, TV show, newspapers and political web sites. This isn't my opinion, but is reality.

There's your problem. You can't tell the difference between reality and media. You also don't know the difference between a threat and capability.

And doubtless those like YOU are what has stayed the President's hand because congressional threats intimidate the likes of you: as if politicians never lie....

Call it ignorance if you like, but don't flatter yourself by thinking I don't know what's been said: I just don't believe what's been said.

Unfortunately for me, those like you can make such things self-fulfilling prophecies.

HaHa...this has nothing to do with media. This morsel of information has been discussed for hours by Rush, Mark Levin, John Batchelor, all the political TV shows, etc etc etc. I have heard the politicians state (they have not done this in secret) with their own moving mouths why Trump can't fire Sessions because they will impeach him. There are republicans in Congress and incoming ones like Romney who aren't like you, don't think like you or do anything like you do. I can't answer for them, but I can tell you what they have said. If you have missed this information, I can't help it. This does not mean I agree with them, but I am relating to you as to why Trump's hands are tied at the moment.

They won't stay tied forever, but for the moment, you will have to show patience as to why Trump can't fire Sessions. It doesn't mean you agree with Trump doing nothing to fire Sessions, but it means just recognizing the situation for what it is.

“I’ll bite...why do you think Trump has not fired Sessions? No wrong answer here.”

Because Scotus decision Myers v United States gives sole authority for firing executive branch officers to Presidents. They don’t have to ask anyone’s permission, and no one, including Congress, can interfere.

What? Oh, wait... nevermind.

Over what? The Russian collusion story is over, period. Rosenstien is on record saying it did not change a vote, and there is no proof of collusion, which is not a crime. So good luck getting a reason for getting rid of him. The only Saturday Night Massicure will be if this crap doesn’t wrap up, gun owners are going to make a march on D.C. fully armed, yelling tree of liberty is best fertilized with socialist democraps!

So you mean to tell me this has all been just political theater...and you can't impeach a President for doing his job... and everyone who has "bought the timeshare" are just suckers...and perhaps the "why Trump hasn't fired Sessions" is his own council, but threats of impeachment ain't it???

Who'd a thunk?

HaHa...this has nothing to do with media.

Now THAT is a truly asinine statement.

Media has a direct affect on "political capital," and political capital is the ONLY thing that binds a President's hands. (Or don't you remember the last two Democrat administrations?)

The more "x-spurts" like you, who give credence to the chattering classes and those whose careers depend on them, the less political capital the President has to spend.

Agree. The cake is baked. It matters not political what the fallout will be. If there is to be an impeachment, and I highly doubt it, then let’s make the most of it.
