I hope you weren't so lazy you didn't even bother to read the article and missed the fact that the author is writing against what that awful song stands for. I get that. But to use an awful song written by idiots who also wrote "Back in the USSR". Most people today don't even know who the Beatles were. I would have used a song that's a little more recent, if I was looking for an example.

Most people today don't even know who the Beatles were. I would have used a song that's a little more recent, if I was looking for an example. The Beatles are enjoying a huge renaissance these days. Lots of young people are into them. The (over-rated) song Imagine is recognized by many all over the world. Some things are classic and stand the test of time.
