1. It might be a reference to a standard letter format for the DOJ in a plea deal.

2. Why would they date it August 21st and then leave an April date at the bottom? How many people must have read this and noticed this discrepancy?

3. Why would the signature dates match the date at the top of the letter and not the date in the footer?

4. The timing of this plea deal announcement could have meant a number of things: It probably has LESS of an impact on Trump since it shares headlines with the Manafort convictions. And the Manafort convictions may have simply meant that the deal with Cohen could be formally announced because he may no longer be needed as a cooperating witness in the other Manafort case.

On April 24th, the same day as the latest revision, it was announced that Sessions would not recuse himself from the Cohen investigation
